"I already love school of humanity so far! I also feel like I have learned way more here then in my former school. I love how its project based and that were learning by doing instead of just having to study a book.鈥
Learner 鈥淚 have always struggled to learn in traditional schools, at first I thought I was just bad at school, I felt worthless. But since I have started SoH, I have been expressing my creativity, I have a clearer understanding on real-world problems and most importantly I feel like I belong.鈥
Learner 鈥淔or most of my life, I was in a traditional school where I often felt out of place. My peers focused on shallow distractions and didn鈥檛 care about bigger issues鈥 At 糖心APP, I finally feel like I belong. This term, I did a challenge called Restoring Ecosystems, and it really showed me that this school understands me, and looks at things the same perspective I do. It gave me a sense of purpose and helped me feel like I truly fit in. 糖心APP feels like a dream come true. Raya and her team have created something truly amazing 鈥 it鈥檚 exactly the kind of school I鈥檝e been looking for.鈥
Learner 鈥淟earning at 糖心APP is such an incredible experience. The facilitators are wonderful, and explain everything in a way that is easy to understand. I also love the way the sessions are organised, as it leaves me with plenty of time to pursue my extracurricular activities. I鈥檓 happy I made the choice to join 糖心APP, and whenever I鈥檓 in a session, I get reminded of what an amazing decision I made.鈥

Learner 鈥淎s a middle school learner, in my first online setting, I felt as though I was welcomed, and taught through a wonderful method. I've met many great people here, including my facilitators, Lucila, Ashna, and Nobu, as well as fellow learners, who I've really connected with. I've had more insightful conversations in class than ever before, learned a ton, and was even given the opportunity to join Foundational High School early! I'm thriving more than ever with school of humanity, and wouldn't want to change schools ever. Thank you to all of those who gave me an incredible first term!鈥

鈥溙切腁PP isn't just forward thinking in the way they are preparing kids for the future, but they also stand out in the way that they care for the child as a whole. They've created a beautiful space where everyone is welcome and encouraged to come as they are. As a parent, I am grateful not only for the skills that are being taught but also for the tools they are providing when it comes to personal growth.鈥
Parent 鈥淢y daughter (now grade 10) joined the SoH in grade 9 due to a nomadic life-style and her drive to learn through projects. She has been beautifully florishing at the school. Her confidence, self-organising skills, learning skills, and her awareness and knowledge of global matters has increased in a mindblowing pace! She has taken on radical self-responsibility. With that, she has embraced being a change maker. The teachers have been uplifting guides and facilitators on her journey. I am deeply grateful!鈥
Parent 鈥淲hat our daughter likes most is that learning is tailored and centred on the learner, not the topic. So the topic is not thrown at the learner, with the learner being 'marked' on how they respond to the topic. Rather, the topic is offered to the learner and all learning and inquiry is entirely centred on the learner and their learning journey is entirely tailored to their needs; this means that time is taken to make sure facilitator and learner work together to find the correct way in which the learner actually absorbs and integrates the new knowledge and understanding of the topic. There's great teamwork and cohesion between the SoH team and their learner's parents/guardians.鈥
Parent 鈥淪oH lets our daughters in Advanced and Middle School take their learning into their own hands, gives them a new self responsibility and sense of meaning for inspired exploration of topics they are eager to learn about and discover new talents and sides within themselves. Parent 鈥淎fter moving to Dubai for the sole purpose of our daughter鈥檚 schooling and placing her in one of the top schools things fell well short of my expectations鈥 am happy to say that we have found a wonderful learning experience [at SoH] with the right balance of exposure, stimulation and independent working鈥he is thriving. The teachers are supportive, always just a message or mail away with immediate responses. 鈥
